Vegie Bench supports full-cycle growing. You can:

The coir-filled pots create the ideal growing environment, allowing a much wider range of plants to thrive compared to standard NFT (Nutrient Film Technology) systems.

With Vegie Bench, plant roots stay moist and nourished 24 hours a day—not just when the pump is running.

This eliminates much of the risk associated with traditional NFT systems and makes solar-powered operation possible, with no ongoing electricity costs.

Standard NFT systems often require pumps to run for 8–10 hours per day, but Vegie Bench's water-retaining coir and unique channel design dramatically reduce pump operating time while keeping plants perfectly hydrated.

Smart, Cost-Saving Water Storage

To reduce freight costs and increase nutrient capacity, we recommend purchasing a 75-litre plastic rubbish bin (or similar container) from your local hardware store to use as the system's main reservoir.
