Shipping policy
Let's talk shipping, because no one (even us) likes being overcharged for delivery!
Domestic shipping
We ship all domestic (Australia) deliveries via trusted courier services. Orders are processed and dispatched within 48hrs on placement of your order, during the week. If there is going to be a delay for any reason, you will be contacted via phone or email, depending on the details that you have left at checkout. Please check your spam/junk folder as the emails may be flagged as coming from Shopify. This doesn’t apply to very small items which will be sent via Australia Post.
Delivery times
Delivery times are estimated based on our courier services. A dispatch confirmation email or SMS will be sent once the order has been posted. Please note; orders placed on the weekend or Victorian Public Holidays will be shipped in the following 2 business days.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. This is done via our integrated courier service, which provides weight-based rates directly from our courier partners.
We are charged by our courier partners for the cubic volume of the parcel, which means we are charged more than you pay for shipping. We never make a profit from shipping, and this is something we 100% stand by. We will never charge you more than your shipping will cost. We generally make a loss on the shipping; however, as we ship more, we get better rates from our courier partners and pass these savings along to you. We do not charge any handling fees, and all parcels come directly from the farm on Phillip Island, Victoria.
On very rare occasions the shipping rates do not calculate accurately, and there may be additional shipping charges. We will contact you to provide you an updated quote for shipping. This may be due to an unusual address or remote area.
In-store pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 122 Ventnor Beach Road, Phillip Island. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email or SMS when your order is ready along with instructions.
Please have your order confirmation email or SMS with you when you come.
Delays
Verti Gro Australia cannot be held responsible for any delays experienced with deliveries. This includes, but is not limited to delays with: the courier service, courier parcel pick up, holiday/peak periods and extreme weather conditions.
If you have not received your order within the above times, please be patient. You may like to check the tracking information, your order number is included in confirmation of shipping email we send you once your parcel is dispatched.
Safety of your delivery
Verti Gro Australia cannot be held responsible for the safety of your item once it has been delivered. There are is an option when you order to add a note at checkout, if there is a preferred spot for your parcel to be left. We pass this information along to the courier service, and are not responsible if this instruction is not followed. Package theft is something that can occur, so please think about where the item can be placed to avoid this, or whether you can be home on the day of delivery.

How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email or SMS notification from us.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
Unfortunately, the courier services will not deliver to a PO Box address. If you may an order with a PO Box, we will call you to get a postal address.
I’ve got a custom order, how do I check the cost of delivery?
Email Roger for a quote with the items you require, and your postal address for a quote on courier rates
If you haven’t received your order within 10 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@vertigroaustralia.com.au or call Roger on 0417 189 073 with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
