What Are Bato Buckets?
Also known as Dutch Buckets, Bato buckets are one of the most popular hydroponic growing systems for both beginners and commercial growers. Instead of using one large media bed, each plant is grown in its own bucket, allowing individual root zones while sharing a common irrigation and drainage system.
The buckets are typically arranged in rows with a simple nutrient supply line and drainage return, making them easy to install, expand, and maintain.

Smooth rolling
I have tried several good quality planter trolleys, but the Vertigo Heavy Duty Australian made Heavy Duty trolleys are the very best. They roll SO easily. I have a verandah full of garden pots of various sizes & weights. Originally (3 yrs ago) I used Vertigo's older style trolleys with turnups, for my very heavy pots. I zip them around by day or season to have best weather aspect and to clean under them. Recently I bought (& I'm about to buy another 6) of the new style flat-topped trolleys for rectangular planter tubs that will get very heavy as bougainvillea grows. I bought the smallest size - that's why you can't even see them under my pots. They would also roll on much rougher surfaces than I have.
I've given them as presents too, because so many have asked about them. I love that they are Australian made and so well made to last and work well.

Terrific Trolleys
We are really pleased with the heavy duty pot trolleys. Trying to grow citrus in Tasmania is challenging and moving them to adapt to the seasons is vital. Having tried cheaper rubbish from major chains that broke within days we settled on these and won’t look back. Will definitely buy more.

Amazing for growing strawberries!
I’ve already bought 4 extra large twin towers. Strawberries are going great, yum.
I was also sent the wrong colour (colour was my fault) and amount, I don’t say this to be negative, I say it because they resolved very fairly. So I’m a life long customer.
Wishing for an even bigger version one day though!

Great trolleys!
So happy with the pot trolleys I ordered. I used these trolleys to replace some cheaper ones I had bought earlier from the local hardware. These trolleys from Vertigro are so much better: strong, easy to wheel in all directions and look good under the pots. Highly recommended!

Great piece of garden equipment
I have an upright maple that needed to be transferred to a very large pot and I knew I needed the ability to move it around the deck easily. This plant trolley did the trick! Super lightweight, but so sturdy and durable, it glides over my deck comfortably and hold my maple with ease. Love it!
